Mando is a rockstar! My daughter was visiting friends in Sonora and her car broke down over the weekend. She lives in DFW and had to leave the car in Sonora on a Sunday so she could return to work. I reached out to Castilleja Auto Repair that Monday, spoke to Mando and he immediately took the initiative to help us out. The customer service was exemplary…it was refreshing to deal with genuinely good, honest people of character. I highly recommend CAR!

Stopped for the night in Sonoma camp ground started truck to go fuel up for next travel day (it's Sunday) truck said emmision service required 75 miles to 65mph max) Monday morning called Mundo could tell he didn't have time for me, but he prioritized me! That night truck running awesome ( wires had been cut?) next morning problem came back ( dang critter ate one of the replaced sensors again) he got me on the road by 1 pm what a guy awesome person awesome people working there

Had the unfortunate luck of loosing a transmission seal east of Sonora, but was able to limp it in to town. Once there I had the fortunate luck of finding Castilleja Auto Repair. Once they opened up, they were able to diagnose the problem. The next problem was finding the replacement seal. Luckily for me they have a deep source of contacts and were able to have one delivered that afternoon and get me back on the road. Took some time, but thanks to the dogged determination of the team, they showed me their dedication to the customer. The out the door price was fair to boot!

In an age when it's hard to find people who care about the customer beyond just the words, these folks get the job done. When the Mercedes dealership can't change a tire or oil change because "the computer is down," Castilleja Auto Repair gets the job done. From work on my old truck to work on my Mercedes, this business does the job.

I can’t thank Mando and his team enough for getting us out of a jam. We were traveling to our lease on Friday and our truck broke down 20 miles east of Sonora. We got towed into Mando’s shop around 4 pm. He quickly determined it was the alternator and ordered one in which would arrive Saturday. Mando came in on Saturday (when they are closed) to swap it out and install a new battery and had it ready by 9:00 am. He also loaned us a truck for Friday night so we could get to our destination. 1000% recommend this company!!!! They are great, friendly and professional!!!!

The best in town!!

Armando and his father repaired our Chevy Express Van, even though it was after hours. They went above and beyond in their customer service because due to the size of our vehicle, the needed parts were located in nearby San Angelo. Armando and father traveled to San Angelo, and repaired our vehicle promptly. After repair, our Van ran better than ever!!! Hopefully we won't be stranded on IH-10 again, but if we are, we will use them again. We highly recommend their work. Great people, great family.
